Overview

An e-commerce site built with ASP.NET Core MVC that sells public-domain classics in its own cover series. It has a searchable catalogue, a cart, Stripe checkout, bulk orders with net terms for schools, order tracking and a full admin panel, in Turkish and English with light and dark themes.

01 · Problem

The bookshop I built during a course was unfinished and only ran on my computer. It had no payments and no order management, and it had security holes that let users change other people's carts or make themselves admins.

02 · Solution

I kept the layered design and rebuilt the rest. I moved it to PostgreSQL, connected Stripe Checkout with a signed webhook, added an order workflow with refunds, and built an account system with e-mail confirmation. I closed overposting and ownership gaps in every form. The app draws its own book covers, and I deployed it with Docker on Render with the database on Neon.

03 · Outcome

The full flow of a real shop works live: sign-up with e-mail confirmation, payment with a test card, order and shipping e-mails, and the admin panel. 44 unit tests protect the key rules.
