Overview
A role-based desktop management app for clinics and small hospitals: conflict-free appointments, weekly doctor calendars, examinations, prescription PDFs and reports.
01 · Problem
Small clinics often keep appointments in notebooks or spreadsheets. The same time can be booked twice, doctors' free times are hard to see, and medical details sit where anyone can read them.
02 · Solution
I built an app with admin, receptionist and doctor roles, protected with Argon2id. Booking rules live in one place and are checked in the same database transaction as the insert. Receptionists book from free times, doctors write examinations with ICD-10 diagnoses and A4 prescriptions, and admins follow occupancy reports. Permissions are enforced in the data layer, and only doctors can see diagnoses.
03 · Outcome
Double bookings are impossible and medical records stay within the doctor role. It can be tried right away with sample data for 1,200 patients. It is bilingual, ships with a Windows installer, and all 20 unit tests pass.
